Hi James,

I read that the call is at 9pm (PST) which is about 5 am for me in the UK, so I guess I’ll wake up to the news about AC.

There’s been a lot of recent PPC launches, PPC2 and Commission Blueprint, is this really another one of those, I know its CPA but isn’t that driven by PPC. I heard on your call with Aymen that he wants us to join a network of his for CPA, is that to get an inside track?

I would think that this will be a high ticket price do you think it will be into 4 figures, and do you think it’ll be monthly subs too?

I appreciate your honesty when reviewing/promoting products James so would appreciate your reply, and I know it’ll only be your own guesstimate of things as you see them

Cheers

Hi Rob,

Great questions and one I am sure a few people are glad you asked.

I am hoping it is better than the launches you mentioned. Aymen is a quality guy and if they can deliver the training over 12 weeks in bite size chunks then a good knowledge transfer should occur.

Even though Aymen says this is for anyone and step-by-step simple I would caution people to consider how it fits in with their learning style and objectives. If you have a lot on right now or you can’t commit to giving it a fair shot it is best left aside.

The course is around the $2k mark and will eliminate many hobbyists just on price alone.

Yes a new CPA network is formed where members will be trained on how to utilize it and be offered good deals to promote.

The thing I want to point out is the main reason for my support of Aymen is from personal experience. He has been making his profit doing this business rather than just selling IM products like other gurus.

He taught me where to buy massive amounts of traffic and how to get creative about traffic rather than taking the traditional approaches.

For me the advice was effective because a) it was great advice and b) I was in a position to roll up the sleeves and apply it.

It was not all a walk int he park. I had high points and also big lessons along the way as I learn t the business.

This is a more serious business than just making an ebook or promoting a clickbank product so I encourage people to only proceed on the basis that they are really focused on making this a business.

Please get a hold of the tele-seminar or recording if you are interested because there will be some more free content provided.

It can be a very lucrative business when done professionally. The core skills will be handy for any IM venture that requires an action to be taken.

-Finding markets
-Researching keywords
-Preparing landing pages
-Testing offers
-Refining campaigns
-Doing better deals with suppliers

Hi James,

I am one of the 30 people who was fortunate enough to buy Traffic Secrets through you and have been getting your Traffic Secrets Monthly lessons.

For anyone who is “bonus shopping” – get this offer from James. This is a really valuable course which I have learned a lot from. Very practical and full of useful information – exactly what you’d expect from reading this blog.

I appreciate your candid response about the CPA course too. As interesting and lucrative as Aymen’s stuff looks, I know I’m not at the stage where I’m ready for it yet. Need to remain focused on my current projects.

Best of luck to anyone who does pursue it though – it certainly looks very interesting and if James vouches for Aymen then that’s enough of a recommendation for me. Your advice is always spot on!

Cheers

Focusing on current projects is the key if you know what you need to do. Great focus!

Thank you for your kind words too. (I never asked any of my current clients to call by and comment so this was nice feedback.)

Steve you might like to know I am currently making a killer SEO lesson for TSM members and I will share with you how I got 7 positions on the page including THIS exact post!

See Proof

The Traffic Secrets Monthly Course is going to get even better and like no other traffic course!

Not for nothing, but a $2k price tag isnt exactly congruent with the claims of ‘wanting everyone to succeed’ idea.

What about the poor folks wanting to do this but not having the funds, or worse yet, the folks who do take the plunge only to discover that it requires what? More money, yet they already tapped out there fundage…

It has been said that placing larger price tags on these things limit the non-action takers/hobbyists? Sure, but at the end of the day how would that affect the rest of the folks who do take action?

If anything it would allow folks willing to take action to do so with an actionable plan, yet still retaining enough fundage to invest in driving traffic…

Not sure why I am concerned, I am just a mere intermediate marketer with the fortunate position of being able to ‘invest’ in this stuff and not be adversely affected, but for those who don’t i truly feel for…just my .02 cents…

BTW, why do all these ‘huge’ launches have issues on launch day? Are they all using the same service? Of course not, we know that answer ;-)

11. Dec, 2008

Hi Christian,

I take your point about the price tag versus everyone succeeding. I am sure some people will be upset.

There are a few reasons why something like this has a higher ticket price not the least being because they CAN ask a prics like that. I recently saw a young kid charging $1990 for a 40 video course that was at the very kindest ‘pedestrian’ in quality of information.

If you know how to make a decent profit online this information is of high value.

Most people who do not have $2000 available to them will not be the right person for this product anyway at this point in time. I say that because perhaps they will be ready later. When I started out I was not a contender for these products. I had too little experience and too little cashflow coming back from my early efforts. In time things change and many of the people who want this will get to a position where they can afford it.

For those who cannot afford it but want it I can suggest that they will possess enough nouse and determination to work their way to the point where they can afford it.

From my own experience of investing up front then working as hard as hell to make it back I know that sometimes a higher price increases follow through. Partly because you have to get an ROI and partly because often the information is superior.

There are not many businesses in the world that require as little start up capital as an online business. For under $5k you can have a business.

I also suggest that most successful internet marketers run it like a business and probably have at least a $5 – 10k investment in tools, training and resources when they at the point of achieving great results. As you can guess it scales up from there as returns get put back into the business.

Regarding the launch – yeah that stuff is pretty common and I have no idea why. I have not experienced it myself at that level so I can’t really comment with knowing about it.

I think there may have been a problems because sales are not tracking yet.

James

11. Dec, 2008

Hi James,
Can someone who has never been in IM do this with the way Aymen teaches it and the way it is set up? I have been a real estate investor for about three years now, but have never touched IM. It all makes sense to me but I wonder if I am going to be instantly over my head. I have all day to do this and learn, but again I don’t want to get into something I will regret after 2 or 3 weeks with this kind of investment.
Thanks,
Doug

Wavatar James

11. Dec, 2008

Hi Doug,

I think it is best suited to someone who has had some experience in internet marketing.

From one point of view I can see that just having one system to follow is an advantage because many marketers get overloaded.

The flip side is that IM is a whole new language and it takes most people at least a few months to just get the basics down.

I would say don’t buy it unless you are going to lock yourself into an office and only do this for the next 12 weeks. It will explode your brain unless you have at least partner who has experience.

Perhaps you and one of the experienced marketers can partner up. Just an idea.

In any case, I recommend you do what is best for you and don’t listen to the hype or get seduced by dreams. Make a business decision.

11. Dec, 2008

Hey James,

I see your point and agree the price will drive off many unqualified folks. In effect he has picked his target market by doing so.

Go after the folks who have achieved enough and proven to be action-takers. This is in effect recruitment for his backend which is promoting his own CPA deal, quite clever actually!

Anyway, thanks for the response and I also wanted to say I really dig your stuff. DDCTR was a nice idea-inducing guide! And get this, it works!

At the end of the day, it comes down to taking action, focused action to be more precise…too bad you couldnt package that into a pill or ebook huh? :) A pill that actually forces you to close your browser and get some work done, magic!

Take care, and should I decide to purchase this course, it will be through your link. You seem like a stand up fellow and I appreciate what you provide….Good Stuff!

Hi James,
Does DDCTR included in this bonus as well?

Wavatar James

13. Dec, 2008

Hi Zainul,

Yes.

DDCTR is the first of twelve modules and you get FULL access. It is an interesting story hoiw this product developed.

I made module one for TSM and it was very well received so I re-did it as DDCTR and sold that module separately.

Many of the other modules are full products and you get full access to them as they come available.

Also some of the modules may never be sold by themselves so th entire course is very exclusive.

Hi James

I’d be grateful if you would please clarify a comment you made in an earlier post which was

“I also suggest that most successful internet marketers run it like a business and probably have at least a $5 – 10k investment in tools, training and resources when they at the point of achieving great results. As you can guess it scales up from there as returns get put back into the business.”

Does this mean that you think we’ll need another $5000 -$10000 to invest alongside the $1997 for Arbitrage Conspiracy for tools etc, or that’s what you believe is needed for investment in tools generally to make a return on IM

I would also value your opinion on what sort of minimum monthly budget you would advise for buying traffic for the Arbitrage Conspiracy system. I know it’s scalable, but I’m just wanting a view on a start up budget please.

Cheers James

Hi James,

I would be grateful if you would clarify what you said in an earlier post please.

“I also suggest that most successful internet marketers run it like a business and probably have at least a $5 – 10k investment in tools, training and resources when they at the point of achieving great results. As you can guess it scales up from there as returns get put back into the business.”

Do you mean that someone would need to spend another $5000-$10000 on tools for this product ‘Arbitrage Conspiracy’ or that’s what most people need to spend on IM generally before they may see a return?

Also, would you suggest a start up budget figure for the monthly ad spend for Arbitrage Conspiracy, I know its scalable, but to start with what would be your guesstimate for a reasonable starting budget per month please?

Cheers James

Wavatar James

15. Dec, 2008

Hi Rob,

No you don’t need 5-10k for Arbitrage Conspiracy to make it work.

I am just saying that most six figure a year IM’ers have scaled up a little and would have invested at least that back into education, resources, tools and outsourcing etc…

CPA with paid search will require a budget for testing offers. You will need a few hundred dollars to test it out.

You can also do CPA with organic (free) traffic but it is slow to start with.

Let Aymen advise you how to start. The best thing is you will have the education before you have to test offers. Once you know what to do and why you are doing it the results should be easier to get.

Hi James,

I’m a newbie when it comes to the nuts and bolts of IM but keen to put in the hours to learn. Will the course be of much benefit to the likes of me or is it designed with more advanced students in mind?
Also, what if I sign up and then can’t get approved by any CPA networks?

Wesley

Wavatar James

23. Dec, 2008

Hi Wesley,

It is designed to teach A-Z. If you are really committed to doing this and you invest 1 hour per day training you should be ok.

The skills you will learn from Aymen are high level however he explains everything step-by-step. It is a simple process that requires discipline and thought in application.

Consider that I have added forum coaching to my bonus to help newer markers by bringing together all my bonus students.

I am looking forward to bringing together 30 or so like minded CPA trainees.

This is a one off chance!

You should be approved for CPA networks if you follow the training in the members area. Some people get rejected because they do not follow instructions.

The key point I want to make is this: The concepts are usable in most IM marketing models.

Offer selection, research, keywords, market tactics, testing, tracking, investing ROI etc… are all excellent skills to learn.

I have used these skills to do my own deals and apply it to affiliate marketing for pay per sale.

I am very excited about this course and with my support I think it will be fine.

25. Dec, 2008

Hi James
I am from Cairns Australia we joined in Arbitrage two weeks ago, and looking forward to start the course.
We made a solid decision about internet marketing this year and the way i fund out about Arbitrage was astonishing. Honestly this is how it happened.
I never before herd the word Arbitrage in my life.
I just got into my office and opened an email and there was the arbitrage video.
I watched it and i was very skeptical but the email came from someone i was trusted.
I thought i better do some digging around so i just typed in google the word arbitrage and i am not kidding at that very moment the phone rang.
I picked up the phone and a telemarketer tried to sell me some investment program.
The name of the program was Arbitrage.
I cracked up laughing.
What is the chance that to happen?
Anyway to cut a long story short i checked out the whole thing and we started with my
kids. Good luck everyone.

26. Dec, 2008

Hi James,

I am from Germany and new to IM.
Find Aymans program absolutely fascinating.
Was skeptical at first.
Your interview with Ayman, your feedback and your blog helped me over the fence.
I think the investment is just worth it to simply learn about marketing skills in the internet generally.

I need to know, though, whether I can attend the training here in Germany, considering the time lag. As I understand it it will be a live training. What will be the hours, and will 1 hour a day be enough? Will there be DVDs about the training, to be able to do the learning on your own time schedule? I won´t always have time to follow the live training. Has that been considered by Ayman and his team in the planning process of the program? Would appreciate to have some information about it before I make the investment and time commitment.

Keep up the good work.

Goetz

Wavatar James

27. Dec, 2008

Hi Goetz,

I agree that learning from Aymen is worth more than the course price. (Even if CPA was not your number one priority).

You can attend the training whenever you like it will be recorded and loaded to the members area.

I am in Australia and the hours are often out for me but recordings are useful if you miss the call. I do not know what time of the day the calls are scheduled for.

There are no DVD’s that I am aware of but you can watch the videos in the members area. (There are some browser plugins that help you donwnload streaming video).

You should be able to submit questions and also when you buy through me you will be able to discuss each lesson in the Members Forum I have set up. There is a thread on CPA and Arbitrage Conspiracy. There are currently around 40 people scheduled to join Andre (a super affiliate) and myself in the forum in the next week.

We will be masterminding the whole course. So, if you can put an hour a day into this and you get my support plus the recordings you really should be able to succeed.

Hi James,

Have you got any response to the views expressed about the Arbitrage Conspiracy below:

http://blog.seorevolution.com/2008/12/10/dont-buy-the-arbitrage-conspiracy-i-was-there-in-vegas/

The general view is that the AC is a lot of hype, teaches nothing particularly new and is just lining the pockets of affiliates and gurus promoting the course.

Thanks

Wesley

Wavatar James

31. Dec, 2008

Hi Wesley,

Yes I dalready commented on that blog – you may have missed it. I posted this:

“Jerry,

I love your newsletter and as a paying subscriber I pay attention to your content. For SEO your stuff is great.

The launch did not run smoothly and I also detest insincere Guru hype.

Since I was NOT at Las Vegas I was not exposed to all the hype. I have however been working closely with Aymen for six months and I do have the course blueprint.

Hype aside, I think the $2k is a bargain for people who are ready top step up CPA a little more. You can’t buy knowledge from people like Aymen cheap. He is a genuine and knowledgable marketer.

Both you and Aymen are people who I learn from and respect. Generous, caring and clever.

I hope people look beyond all the negativity and controversy and make a fair decision. Your blog post may cause someone to miss out on a great opportunity for no reason other than unfounded fear.

It is not a scam and it is not a rip-off if you are ready for CPA and you think you can get more than $2k back from your investment.

James

Jerry replied with this:

“James, thanks for the note. You obviously have a different perspective as you have talked to Aymen. I have attempted, but couldn’t get anyone to call me back. I have nothing against Aymen personally, my issue was the launch, how it was misrepresented and how it was just basically injected with hype during a recession.”

And in a later comment he added this:

“My objection to this course is not the content, but how it was billed and marketed.”

The bottom line – Jerry was upset about the marketing of the product not the product itself.

The product itself is AWESOME as new members are starting to discover :D

Another marketer Mari commented:

“I signed up for the course, and after listening to the 1st pre-training, and looking at the back office, I can tell you that I’m very glad that I did.”

Get on board. Some people will be making money in 2009 whilst others are moaning crying about bad marketing…

Cheap marketing.

Perhaps you should consider trading the maverick money makers program for the arbitrage conspiracy so you can build a real business.

31. Dec, 2008

Carlos,

Ok, my bad. I did check through the replies first and could only see a Christian. That would have clarified things a little.

(There has been a plague of Maverick Money Makers breaching the forum I visit lately and I thought they may be stalking my very own blog too. The actions of these affiliates has caused me to dislike anything relating to the program).

Your post did not really add much value to the topic since Christian already made a great post and I replied to it above as well. I am here to answer questions about Arbitrage Conspiracy and my bonus. It is not a whinge forum. I don’t like the big greedy Guru stuff either that is why I don’t subscribe to their emails.

You could always unsubscribe like I did.

Regarding launches – Not my area of expertise since I have never done a server crushing launch but I have put forward my views elsewhere that they don’t do this on purpose and they could improve their game in this area.

For me I am keeping focus on the content and the lessons learned. This is an opportunity.

These guys did get a problem with the affiliate tracking software according to my sources but that really is old news. I’m not wasting negative energy on stuff I can’t control. I am building sites, forums and products and starting campaigns.

Cheers to the success of people who take action.

Wavatar Carlos

31. Dec, 2008

Thank you James. I’m glad to clarify things soon. About Arbitrage, I’m new to it. But I have been already accepted on 6 CPA networks, which I think gives me a head start on this business. Aymen seems to be very legit in regards his way of teaching and so as you. I really need as many help from mentors as possible, but not any mentor. You understand, I’m not willing to through more money around.

Will contact you privately later for more guidance.

Wish you an incredible 2009

Wavatar Wesley

31. Dec, 2008

Hi James,

Thanks for your reply.

I suppose every product including AC has its critics.
Probably most of the negativity has been down to the way it has been over-hyped by the “gurus”. Their gushing endorsements do tend to raise the BS detectors.

However, my main concern is that I’m a newbie. The course seems way too advanced for a beginner with no experience of building sites and creating campaigns. By the time a newbie gets up to speed with the basics of IM, then the techniques taught will probably be outdated. No?

Put it this way, if the world’s best golfing coach was handing out tips, who would get more out of it – me or Tiger Woods?

Also the guarantee doesn’t seem as cast iron as it could be.

Thanks

Wesley

James I was just searching the net actually on something about Keith Baxter & saw your info site/info on Arbitrage..and just wondering. Like many I’m a 52yr old Licensed General Contractor & R.E agent. Finding myself out of a career due to the economy. No college degree and not to computer savvy but I’m commited to investing 100-$150K to starting an Intenet marketing business. I have some products from Russell B, Jeff J, Yanik S and…However I’ve not gone thru it all yet. Like so many I’m confused on where do you start, what to buy, how to pick a mentor? So many talk of having a mentor but let’s face it all the great guys want so much $5000+ or are not doing it. And I don’t mind spending provided I get substantial ROI. My direction is going to be towards creating Information Products so I’m wondering
1)Is your offer a good place to start OR to be as an in addition too product?
2)Many are not geared for the Int newbies/dummies is yours easy to follow?

Hi Kelly,

One thing I will suggest is you should stop buying stuff until you consume the products you have already bought.(If they are aligned to what it is you want to achieve).

(If you want to create information products there is no better model than the Nitro Blueprint).

I think with your assets and determination you would make a great partner for someone who is keen and IM savvy but has not got the resources to invest in business models like this.

My forum will help you pick a strategy and follow it step-by-step. You can post as many questions as you like and you will get support from my forum partner and me. (And other forum members).

This is part of my Arbitrage bonus.

In the forum are 50 other people who are in a range of situations and I am sure there are some who would want to team up a little.

I don’t know of a good US based mentor.

My goal is to provide the best IM forum available and I will be putting out some “start here” products soon to help people get the first steps.

If someone wants to team up with Kelly post here.

Hi James,

I bought a course of Brett McFall recently and haven’t started anything, as yet.

An email from Brett about you today took me to internetmarketingspeed.com and information about the conspiracy course.

I’m attending WIS on the GC and so know I will be privy to some of your information there. My questions are twofold – I can’t see a price for the conspiracy course on this page (unless I am just missing it) and given that WIS is in 3 weeks time, will I be able to purchase the course there if that’s what I decide to do?

Do you know what day you will be speaking on?

Let me know.

Rosalind
