Wordtracker SEO Blogger Plugin For Firefox versus Market Samurai

Posted by James in Affiliate, How To, Traffic

When you are making blog posts it is a great idea to do keyword research for your topic. This ensures you get the maximum organic search engine ranking and targeted traffic to your site.

Using Wordpress + Firefox
Professional bloggers mostly use Wordpress now since it is free and very powerful. Google loves Wordpress blogs and the open source code makes it ripe for developers to make plugins for it. Firefox falls under a similar category. There are some awesome add ons you can download after you download Firefox to enhance your blogging performance.

Introducing Wordtracker SEO Blogger add on
Simply install the new Wordtracker SEO Blogger plugin for Mozilla Firefox and you can open it up from the ‘tools’ menu.

Add keywords on the fly

Simply type in your search terms and you get the search volume stats right next to your blog post as you write it. Wordtracker is a very popular keyword research provider in the SEO industry and they have a strong database of keywords that help people rise above the competition.

Summary
If you are blogging right now and you are NOT using any keyword research , this may be a fast simple option for you. If you have the extra few minutes I recommend you run Market Samurai since you will get a whole lot more data. The Wordtracker add on is simple and easy but lacks the competition analysis professional bloggers should be using. When it comes to tags the extra research will get you an edge. Market Samurai will show you the competition and SEO values among many other things.

Cool…

Thanks James.

How do you find out about these things ahead of everybody else?

Were you the one who found out about a discount code for Auto Social Poster last year?

I would sure like another chance to take advantage of that!

I procrastinated and ended up sorry.

Thanks for the heads up. SEO blogger isn’t for people building static sites though…

Agree that MS is a great piece of software.

Hey James – excellent info –

I’ve been using Firefox for some time now … but just realising all the excellent apps you can add into it. Thanks for the Wordtracker tip – love it because it’s really easy to use. Now I need to master Market Samurai!

Thanks James,
I have been an advocate of Firefox for some time, but being lazy and inert, it took an open source oriented friend to urge me to install it. There are some fantastic plug ins.
I also have MS which is awesome.
Still need to master it too but I’m sure the effort will be well worth it.
