Video Traffic Tutorial

Posted by in How To, Traffic, Video

I made a video today for you as an example of how you can easily make videos for your website. The step-by-step process is something you can do over and over again to bring links and pre-qualified visits to your website – enjoy. This is an example of the style of training video in my products.

The video traffic project

I asked my friend Kerry Finch if I could use her new ebook as the example and she agreed. I made up a project folder to get the video project up and running fast.

Here is the end result – a video about Internet Marketing in China

Hi Dave,

Can you tell us about RSStator? – readers need to know about this service it looks awesome!

James,
That was a great series. I am going to give that a go. You sure make it look very easy to do this, but I will let you know if it is that easy once I try.
Thanks and keep up the good work,
Steve

James, Thanks for asking about rsstator.com. The short answer is that it is an rss aggregator that allows you to blend multiple rss feeds into one unique feed. One way to use this service is to blend a few of your favorite blog feeds together, then submit the newly generated feed to a blog reader like MyYahoo – that way you can easily group your favorite feeds into one for easier reading. Additionally, there are a number of benefits for your own sites in terms of getting more exposure, more viewers, higher search engine rankings … I’ll knock out a report explaining those soon. Thanks. Thanks for the comments Joe and Bryan.

Dave I like the sound of that RSS tator. Can you add a function to embed an affiliate link or link back to a site like rss footer etc… from your own mashed feed?

James,

Had not thought of being able to embed outside links … I like the idea and will add the ability. Thanks.

We also used your Conduit Method XSitePro templates to build the website that the video links to.

Again, thank you,

James, I am singing your praises for an excellent video and imaginative use of Animoto.

I also want to thank you for your mentioning media-convert.com in the video. I had been looking for a way to convert the Stompernet audios from .flv to .mp3 so I could listen to them away from my computer and that website did the conversion easily.

Please continue with your excellent video tutorials.

Thanks Mary!

(I don’t mind if you anchor text your Name either)

I sure will make some videos – they are just so easy.

0 On a similar note about Media-convert – I have been making sure my new training videos have MP3 versions for that reason – multi-media infusion!

Hey James, nice video mate.

Have you done any research on the sort of phrase search competition you can a video blast ranked for, assuming the title and description are optimised correctly?

Have a great 2009 mate

Hi Peter,

I use Market Samurai before I blast anything and make sure I use the good keywords in the title, description and tags.

My main rule is I want buying terms, I am not worried about competition so much – the traffic will come if you put a bit of effort into video marketing.

There’s alot of resources in there to use. I really like video when I see it. Makes me feel a stronger sense of discovery than just text or even audio. Makes me want to share it more too because I feel like my friends are going to be entertained by it more, it’s a little bit passive so they won’t feel like I am creating work for them.

Do you think I’m going to use it for my maketing. Hell yes!

Hi James, thanks for this video – learned a lot!

Just a quick question re: using tags – i notice you use a large variety of them in all that you do – is there a better way to use these? This still seems to be one are i am a little grey on.

Hi James
Great instructional video. I have started to use animoto with great effect for clients. I was just thinking about up grading to a commercial version and this has swayed me.
Also with snagit I did not realise you could make slides with it. Looks like I might have a sunday afternoon spending!
Thanks

This was an incredible presentation. I have to tell you, James, everything about the way you do things is “on point”! Even your autoresponder messages come across as extremely personable. You are really reaching out and “talking” to us. Most emails are dry & generic. I am learning quite a bit just “hanging around”.

Thanks a lot!
