How To Set Up Split Tests Using Google Optimizer
Posted by James in Affiliate, Conversions, How To, List Building, Video
I just added a ‘how to set up a split test” video into the sequential training series for subscribers. This video is about 8 minutes long and has a step-by-step training video showing an A:B split test setup. If you want to learn split testing then this is a great introduction. It comes along after the Video Traffic lesson.
Google Optimizer is a very easy to use split testing tool and every marketer should be split testing opt-in pages. The benefits far outway the few minutes it takes to setup a test. Once you find a high converting page then you can get more results from the same amount of traffic! Over a long period this makes a huge difference. A 10% increase in conversions from 40% to 50% on 100 visits a day for a newsletter opt-in would equate to 3650 extra clients per year…..
This training video is one of many free training videos reserved for newsletter subscribers of Internet Marketing Speed.com. Subscription is currently free. My goal is to help other people do the things that will help them be in a position to increase their results from Internet Marketing. The better you go the better we all go! To your success.

Thanks James,
I don’t know where I would have been able to find how to do this spit test otherwise. It is great information to have access to – well done!

James,
Wow, that was so easy. I am going to start to test different things for the above page and see how things go. You make the video’s and show all the steps, which is so nice, because it makes it simple to follow and easy to do.

James,
Great video. Would you suggest waiting for some consistent traffic before you start split testing? Going to start a project so this video is very timely. If so, how much traffic would be a good place to start?
Thank you James for the video advice!

James:
Thanks for your very well done instructional videos. They are easy to follow, and now I have to take action with my new website and learn how to apply this new knowledge you have given us. I look forward to all that you send out in these videos, and am working hard to learn XSitePro2 so I can get up more websited by myself.

My son has a BSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. I don’t. Please don’t assume everyone can write html. Your instructions are far too technical for me. I would need a crash course in computer programming to understand what you are on about.

Hi Christine,
I am no techy and I know the least HTML imaginable!
If you want a crash course in HTML it is here: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp
If you would prefer someone else to do it try an outsourcing site like: http://www.Odesk.com
Or you could not split test at all.
I hope you find this valuable.

James
