One of my biggest mistakes was thinking that as a Mum my hourly rate was zero, because you don’t put anything in the bank every month.

Adding up all the things I did then getting a feel for how much it costs to get someone in to do them helped me put a $ value on my time, which empowers you by making you stop & ask
“Is this really the best use of my time?” ‘,
“If I spend all this time doing this what do I get at the end of it? ie What’s my return on investment here?”

Getting over having things done “Perfectly” eish, still have to work on that one!

Mentoring √√√√√√√√√

Outsourcing = Putting on my Big Girl’s Panties & about to jump in with both feet now that I have SuperFastServices to use.

What a great layout of that pdf guys! Both the way it looks and what you say is top. Thanks for the skydiving tip!

IM simply takes some experience which you cannot outsource or gain thru a mentor.

But all the other tasks should indeed be outsourced. I am very happy with my taxadvisor for example, taking away the headache, the time and having to deal with people I don’t really like to spend too much time with.

This is a report I’ll reread from time to time…

Cheers,
JanPaul

James,

This report rings sooo true. It definitely speaks to many of the fears I had when I first started out.

The whole finding a mentor thiing is spot on. The key is to finding a ‘Real’ one.

Other than that, pick a plan, work it and eventually good things happen.

It’s kinda funny when you look back at all the little mistakes, err…I mean learning experiences and realize how much you have accomplished and this report made me do just that.

Cool stuff, thanks.

Reading and listening to these great tips is helping take those important steps thru the fear to taking some action.

Thanks for the PDF file!! It has a lot of valuable information. The outsourcing section was very interesting. It has some good points. I’m a newbie, and also a perfectionist. So reading this gave me a good insight about what I shouldn’t do. Your blog is great!! I’m going to keep reading it :)
