Fast Web Formula is the name I gave my business system and was also an intermediate Online Marketing 3 day live workshop covering everything you see in my MindMap. Many of the students who attended FastWebFormula live workshop say it was the best Internet Marketing training they have ever received. I am now getting set for a new Internet Marketing Live workshop in Sydney (September 10,11,12). FastWebFormula 2 LIVE will be simply awesome. Get details for FWF2 here.

Free Fast Web Formula MindMap

Now that I have a new FastWebFormula2 workshop planned (with an update to my materials) I am releasing the original MindMap from the FastWebFormula event held in March 2010. The MindMap from this event is likely to be far more comprehensive than most maps and courses you buy. The reason for this is most of my results come from hard work sifting through information in the market place and then combining this with my own testing and innovations.

Everything you need to know into one Map for simplicity

The result = proven and tested resources and processes. (I have been using MindMaps for about 8 years and they make step-by-step processes very easy to rollout). MindMaps also form a simple training delivery system for me to teach others.

This is The Fast Web Formula MindMap Sneak Peak

Access Map Here

Please Make It Bigger!

You cannot see the detail in the above picture however with the PDF you can magnify it. When you get this mindmap you can take it to the printer and blow it up to a full A1 size poster. Once you have the full formula and you implement the items you can expect your business will change beyond recognition. This is literally the formula I used to build my business into a powerhouse that generates more than a million dollars in revenue per year (from the comfort of my own home office).

ZOOM Example

This Map shows some conversion strategies.
I give a detailed explanation of  these in your
FREE training video series. See below:

Free Internet Marketing Training

Included with the Mindmap area series of FREE training videos (and a few bonus PDF reports) taking you through various highlights from the event. Watch as the IM experts reveal secrets about research, content, traffic, conversions, leverage and MORE! And the cost you is zero. You simply register for email updates every few days with new lessons. There are more than a dozen short yet valuable modules.

Here are a few reasons why I would hand over my profit formula.

  • Reason1: You get more value delivered into the Internet Marketing community and I cement my place as an innovative quality supplier of information that works. A lot of people borrow and take my ideas (I’m being kind here). I might as well receive credit for my own work, blood sweat and tears. I am the source for many of these innovations and now you can access me directly without getting rehashed content from a middleman.
  • Reason 2: You have the opportunity to learn for FREE and then apply these strategies to build your business to make extra profits. When you get results from this free training you will be far more likely to enthusiastically invest in my paid products such as the bargain priced FastWebFormula DVD’s (They are a mere fraction of the $4000 event cost). Many of my students now make six figures a year with ease. you will see their testimonials in my training.

Hey James,

This is not a competition entry type comment (I will do that later AFTER reading the material and watching the videos) but I am really psyched up already.

Your mindmap reminds me of the old PLFv1. I am convinced that this type of blueprint likes yours is what marketers really need in order to follow through and leave no stone unturned.

I’ll be back with my thoughts soon…

Thanks James!

LOL – want to know my very first takeaway?? How to make these awesome mindmaps BIG enough to read when printed.

Wowie – it’s the littlest things sometimes, eh??

I’m sure I’ll have plenty more aha moments – your stuff is always excellent… just thought I’d share now :-D

I appreciate you,

Great stuff James!

As a participant at the last workshop, its really valuable to have this refresher. Going through the mindmap is bringing back a whole heap of highly compelling reasons why IM is such a great way to go – particularly with the strategies you provide that actually make it deliver!

Looking forward to FWF2

Thanks for that James!

Just finished watching the ENTIRE 72-minute Fast Web Formula 2 video from start to finish and my head is literally buzzing with ideas.

Already from that video I’ve been able to takeaway the true POWER of using systems to create leverage so that you can find success quickly and avoid drowning in all the noise and BS in the Internet Marketing space.

I’ve just applied your ‘opportunity filter’ to my email account and purged the pretenders…leaving only those who are CURRENTLY walking the talk.

That alone, has probably INSTANTLY cost “them” hundreds in sales, but saved me thousands in time, money, energy and frustration!

Absolutely can’t wait to dive into the mindmap…I’m sure I’ll find plenty of other gold nuggets.

Another Buzan Fanatic,
Jeff

Hi James

Thanks for your 1st video on mindset.

The biggest takeaway for me is that mindset is one of the most important factors that will determine one’s success with online businesses.

I think with the right mindset (and lots of hard work) that you can achieve whatever you want in life.

I love the fact that the sky is the limit with online businesses.

Here’s one “unofficial” take-away, because I haven’t even downloaded the material yet.

Researched me some “Goldratt”, and realize that’s one forward thinking man, with some revolutionary business ideas.

Had heard of his book, but the social proof you’ve provided will lead me to look into him further.

Thank you, James.

Hi James, thank you so much for your continued and generous support!

I have had the joy of attending the March event and learning from the best. I love jogging my memory on the mind map and implementing the finer details of IM and am so glad that I can just use this material and don’t have to go through all theses experiences myself.

I will direct all my friends to your blog for them to see how it is really done!

I’m hooked…

Watched the 8 DVD pack for Underground Profit System, and have built 5 sites so far.

The mindset shift is providing solution for people problems, I see more opportunities every day.

As a business model, IM has the upside potential without the huge capital required of a conventional business. I just walked past a sandwich franchise today that had closed its door. The reality of the closed store is that is someones dream, to make it on their own. Break free of the rate race and after that experience they may never take the risk again.

IM provides the access to the dream without a huge bank loan and a chain of teenagers to run the store.

Thanks James for sharing, you don’t need to share your knowledge and I’m grateful that you have…

Hi James.
As always you give some great info and the training vids are top notch.
The biggest take away I’ve got from watching them so far is that planning is crucial. Your mind map is great and I like the way how it serves as a blueprint or business plan you work from and follow. After seeing how you refer to it all through the workshop vids, I decided to follow your lead and started to get into mind mapping myself and already my thinking has become a lot clearer. I can see my whole internet marketing biz laid out before me in one glance, instead of floating around in my head or scrawled over bits of paper. It’s good stuff.
I guess its like the old saying – “If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail”. Thanks mate.

I think the biggest ‘takeaway’ I had was a couple years ago, when I had the opportunity to see you speak live in Melbourne. Since then I have jumped head first into Internet Marketing and SEO.
My biggest problem is that I am one of those control freaks that likes to do everything myself.
I don’t have your fantastic organisation skills. But this year I have decided to, like Paul, create my own (much smaller) mindmap to break down the tasks that I should do and the ones that need to be outsourced.
I spend hours each day devoting time to Internet Marketing and am puzzled when I hear about internet marketers that work a four hour week.
But I go by the old quote “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hi James,

I just want to say a very quick THANK YOU! for allowing us to access your training for free.

I have just signed up and am really looking forward to going through your training.

I was fortunate enough to see you live at the World Internet Summit on the Gold Coast last year and would have loved to have signed up for your training, however due to financial and life circumstances it was just not possible. I am the main provider for my family and it just wasn’t an option.

Thank you so much for making the training available. As some marketers would say I am taking the long road learning this industry taking advantage of the free stuff that is provided by well respected marketers.

I will be back to make my competition comment after completing the training.

Thank You Thank You Thank You

Kind Regards

One thing I notice about Internet Marketing in general is the generosity behind it all. James, you are one of the best because you make me realise it’s not all about me but how to help others. I’ve been struggling with this and trying to launch an IM business for nearly two years without much headway but looking back I haven’t really had a clear plan, just stabbing in the dark here and there. This is where your mind map comes in because it clarifies each section distinctly and precisely. I found it’s all very well hearing and saying IM will turn you into a squilliionaire but without clear direction and commitment on top of the knowledge, it’s pretty frustrating . I sometimes wish I could turn off all business commitments from what I hope will be just a previous entry on my CV, but for now, it’s two jobs – current and IM – and the mindmap on my wall to get my thinking clear and straight.

Thanks again James.

Biggest takeaway for me is that seeing the entire process laid out logically, automatically started my brain thinking in ordered steps rather than jumping all around the place.

There is something satisfying in being able to see, and tick off, all of the steps as you go along. Much better than frantically trying to work it all out, while more and more variables come piling in.

Thanks

Thanks James,

You know, most people overuse the phrase “content is king”, and with good reason. Because it is literally the starting point of everything that we do. Without content, we cant sell, and without selling, well… why are we doing what we are doing?

The mindmap pretty much sums content up (in just one of its arms). It is one of the two largest and most comprehensive sections in that mindmap, and without having any other videos delivered as yet, it is absolutely clear not just how important content is, but the variety of sources that you use for content.

A lot of people are still stuck in the mindset of creating posts, doing some SEO, promoting on social media, rinsing and repeating, but it is a whole lot more than that. Imagine how boring it would be if we just provided text all day, and nothing else. What about Video, audio interviews and podcasts, what about webinars or even creating products whether they be paid or even free?

I mean, what if we do an interview? That is content, right? Why not transcribe that, create an article or post out of that, use it as a freebie in the course that we are about to release, maybe even create a mindmap as free content for an opt in, and once we have finished with it, create a keynote video of the interview for YouTube, then upload the video to our podcast? That is how broad content goes. Its not about text anymore, it is about how broad you can go to sell your content to absolutely anyone who is searching for it.

What did I take from that? Lets just say that from time to time, we think we know it all, and the reason that I still study courses and go to workshops and conferences is so that I can get a touch up. I don’t know it all, no one does, but to just get a reminder on how broad we can go if we really want that little more edge, that is as powerful as simply having the knowledge.

Hi James watching the videos gave me a couple of immediate distinctions. I cleared my desktop (my Mac and work desk) to declutter my work flow, bought a small white board to map out how i want my business to look like. Now when i have an idea i map out a procedure to create a system of how to execute my idea.

This has seen my productivity sky rocket. and given me greater clarity in the direction I want my business to go. When you where at Ed Dales event in melbourne I asked a few questions about your business and you said that i should focus on my strategy – look for recurring income where i can provide value. I learnt that my biggest sticking point was my lack of clarity- not asking the right questions.

Still working on it and seeing what you have done with your mind map and videos really allows for a great overview of a successful business and the systems required to have it operate successfully.

James,

You asked “Why Internet Marketing?” Here’s my humble two cents worth:

In a word, Internet marketing equals freedom. Freedom from having a boss; freedom from grafting to make someone else rich, and freedom to spend your time doing the things you truly love.

Internet marketing allows ANYONE to select a niche, target that niche (or, even better, target more than one niche) and then offer superior goods, services, and products to a concentrated group of willing buyers.

And the joy is, anyone can do this. ANYONE. All it takes is a simple, proven formula, dedication, endeavour, and resilience (which in a nut shell means not giving up). Napoleon Hill talks about the guy that quit when he was just three feet from the gold. Just THREE FEET! How many people quit the world of Internet marketing, JUST before they’re due to make it work fro them? I have no idea but I’d imagine it’s lots.

The gurus make it look so easy (and it is), but the trouble so often is that people fall victim to “The Next Shiny Object” syndrome. That, and they’re just not prepared to put in the graft that it takes to make Internet marketing work for them.

I first started online almost two years ago (with direct linking to affiliate products). I failed miserably and didn’t make a dime. But I didn’t give up. Then I “discovered” the world of direct response marketing (and by this time I’d called myself a copywriter for the better part of ten years).

I also received a stellar piece of advice from the legendary adman, George Parker.

George said: “Forget about branding, focus on sales!” Those six words changed my life.

I became a student of direct response. I joined my local Glazer Kennedy group. I made connections, and I devoured books and all kinds of other content on ways to improve.

I started contributing to an online forum and at first I thought “I haven’t got a prayer!”. But I didn’t give up. I answered questions on the forum and stuck at it. Week after week I answered all kinds of questions on pretty much every aspect of marketing there is. And slowly, I rose through the ranks and gained attention—not for being a smart arse, no. I gained attention by HELPING people.

Fifteen months and 1,600 answers later (I’ve figured out I’ve contributed the best part of 650,000 words of content to this one site) I’m now ranked in the site’s top 25 “experts” list (their quotes, not mine), and this exposure has made me a better writer, AND it’s earned me people’s respect.
[As an aside, the site in question is the Know-How Exchange of MarketingProfs http://www.marketingprofs.com/ea. This site has 365,000 registered users worldwide and it's seen monthly visitation of up to 90,000 unique hits]

This site has also helped me make a little bit of cash. Not a lot. but enough to whet my appetite to do more.

Then in February of this year, I lost my job. I’ll spare you the details. Let’s just say it wasn’t pleasant. Since then I’ve been applying for other jobs but I’ve also continue investing in myself on the IM front. Note here that I didn’t give up. The last six months have been really tough in lots of ways, financially AND emotionally, but I’ve stuck at it.

In my old job, I was continually shot down. This led to me selling myself short in SO many ways and I’m convinced that this happens to lots of other people and that it’s one of the main reasons they quit. On MarketingProfs I’ve become their top ranked contributor on social media, I’m now passing social media links to Tony Robbins (at his request), and I’m one of fewer than 400 people Tony follows on Twitter.

I’ve designed a simple blog and it’s getting traffic—not a lot, but I’m seeing results. I’ve made some cash with offline editing work (it’s not a lot, but it’s a start), and two weeks ago via Facebook I noticed that one of the UK’s top Internet marketers was asking for help with design work (I’m a graphic designer by trade). So I submitted 12 designs for a logo for his mastermind and coaching group. He liked what he saw. We whittled the 12 down to 2. From there, we selected one, and, as a thank you, I aded in a few layouts for slides for a presentation he was preparing. He loved the logo and the slides, and in payment we’ve agreed a transatlantic coaching call (he’s in the UK, I’m in the US).
He also supplied a stellar testimonial that to me is worth its weight in gold.

Who is this guy? His name’s Dean Hunt.

Would I have made this connection had I quit? Never in a million years.

Two days later I received an invitation from another guy in Mexico. Did I know he’d been working with Mr. X and would I be interested in helping out with creating an index for some video content for Mr. X? My response was “Hell yes!” So that’s what I’m doing at the moment: creating an index for a video that Mr. X did of an event run by Yanik Silver in Washington D.C. (Underground 4).

Who is Mr. X? Well, a year ago he released a product called Sales Tsunami which blew the doors off the world of CPA marketing. His name is Mike Hill.

Would I have made THIS connection had I quit? Never in a million years.

So here I am, rambling on about Internet marketing. But the truth is, here, I’m talking about other things: resolve; commitment; determination; staying power; endeavour … even when all common sense says “This is hopeless, Give it up!”

There’s a saying that there are riches in niches. But here, riches don’t just mean monetary gain. Here, I firmly believe that richness applies to one’s sense of self respect, and to one’s sense of self esteem. I’ve hit lots of bumps in the road so far, and no doubt I’ll hit more, and some of them might hurt more than losing my job (I hope not!). But here’s the thing: there’s a sense of freedom out there. I know it, I can feel it. And it’s mine. I deserve it, and so does my lovely wife Sue. I’ve sold myself short for far too long and now I’ve no intention of stopping.

Everything could slot into place over the 30 days. It might take me another six months. It might take me another year.
But I’ve come this far and as far as I’m concerned, the view is VERY MUCH worth the climb.

Sadly, too many people think only of the victory and not of the pain and angst of competing; THAT’s what knocks the wind out of so many people’s sails. They fail to plan and plan to fail. They don’t take things one step at a time and they don’t look at what they’ve done wrong so that they can correct it next time.

There’s an old joke: How do you eat an elephant? to which the answer is “One bite at a time.” and I think the same is true for Internet marketing. You’ve got to take it slowly and you’ve got to stick at it.

So, why Internet marketing? For the greater sense of freedom, and because I’ve only got one go at this thing called life. Best make it count, eh?

Thanks for reading.

Hi James,

I finally completed watching the videos tonight!! Yay!

I got myself a little sidetracked the last few weeks since I last commented. On that day I last commented I actually wrote my 100th blog post. I celebrated the achievement and mentioned it in a forum I am a member of.

Silly me wrote “Next challenge to get 100 comments on a blog post.” Well one of the fellow members said “fantastic idea that’s a challenge!”

Next thing I knew from my little bimbo comment I was organising a blogging challenge to get 100 people involved before the end of August for us all to comment on each others blogs so we all get 100 comments each!! Ooops on that one!!!

Cut a long story short I have 94 contributors as of today, 3/4 of them I have never met, they found me from other people. (Wow on the power of 6 degrees of separation) and the feedback I have been getting from everyone is amazing!

My point! I am not making any money from this challenge, I am not even list building from it either! this has been something that started from a comment that has led to an amazing community spirit of people interacting with each other and all trying to help each other.

Now how this connects to YOU!

Giving first is an amazing thing, it builds relationship and trust. It is genuine and true.

What I found from watching your videos is the amount of absolute gold nuggets that you have given for FREE!

I have 4 pages of notes!

The first thing I want to mention is the mind map. That is amazing. I have looked at that closely and you have given an absolute blueprint of creating a business online and an overall view of each task involved, tools needed and what to do and how to find things. You have taken a lot of the guess work away and given it on a piece of paper!! THIS IS GOLD!!

Next In the video on Mindset I took away the importance of being the solution provider especially in a recurring situation. However the real nugget in this video is when you were talking about surveying the customer. I know of so many businesses offline that should be doing this more than online. I think this is a strategy many businesses miss both online and offline.

In the video on ‘Effective Tools” Thank you for the information about the different video formats and how using FLV is more compatible overall, plus the Skype technique of having a number you could leave recorded messages on. I never knew that one!!

The real gold nugget in this video was the importance of backing up! Boy can I relate to this one. I had 2 hard drive crashes in 6 months last year. Yes I lost about 6 months of work, however the real killer here was that I lost 4 months worth of photos of my then 2 year old. I was an emotional wreck! I didn’t care about the lost work, but I cries over my lost bubbas photos and videos!

In your 3rd video on “Online Profit Models” I really liked the suggestion of “finding the missing chapter” when creating a bonus product when promoting an affiliate product. This is what sets the affiliate marketers apart. The ones that have actually bought the product they are promoting and are able to give a product that compliments the affiliate product to encourage the sale. However more to the point, the affiliate marketer is actually creating a list of their own targeted buyers by doing this!!

I was also fascinated with listening to Kyle Tully about marketing services offline and the power of doing that. I did a big “ooohhhh’ when you cut the video. I wanted to listen to him more.

James,…….Thank You for giving me the opportunity and the free access to this training. You sound like you are an amazing teacher and mentor and you do genuinely care about the success of your students.

I look forward to learning more from you hopefully very soon.

Thank You Thank You Thank You!
