Good interview, I have one person full time at the moment from the Philippines. She is very good and I’m looking to get more on board.
I wasn’t sure what Clint’s business model is now. At the start he said it was consulting to offline businesses but part way through he said this was limited by time and that they had some kind of epiphany that changed things. So what is his current model now ?

Chris I’ll let Clint answer that. The key points are about growing your business.

Chris my business model changed because I became my best client. Instead of being just a service provider I treated myself as a client and then leveraged off some of my clients and went into business with them, at least at a JV level.
Other potential clients who came our way instead of offering them our services for a fee we now back ourselves and become a business partner/stakeholder.
One small mindset shift was all it took to get things moving at a great rate of knots.

Thanks for the replies. James seems to do that too from the various things I’ve heard from him.
It makes sense as the partner has the product and you have the IM smarts so you’re not doing everything yourself as you mentioned.

The point about looking after your own business is very important for service providers.

I still remember the Silver Circle call where you told me to treat myself as my best client.
It was like Sam Kekovich was talking to me…’you know it makes sense’.
