Another Major Reason Why Most Internet Marketers Fail (and What You Can Do To Fix It)
Posted by James in Affiliate, How To, List Building, Video
It pains me to see so many people fail when they try and get online. Go to any public forum and you will see the desperation and bitterness from those who have invested time and energy into this amazing business only to see it fade away. They once had the motivation and the mindset in place yet they came up empty to the point where they are worn out and often resent anyone who has achieved success.
Most people are making the same mistake
A huge number for products focus on mindset, tactics and onetime strategies that become obsolete fast (if they EVER worked!). It is tempting for people to jump in and get busy ‘taking action’ only to fail. This is assuming that they get over the massive overload most marketers are faced with in the first place.
Taking Action will NOT make you successful unless…
All the time well meaning people are shouting (in caps) TAKE ACTION!. Well guess what? If I dived into the sea here and started swimming east towards New Zealand (from Sydney) I would probably drown. It would not matter how great a swimmer I was or how determined and focused I was on swimming to the end goal. It is just not possible! Mindset and action are not enough.
This is the REAL secret
It is a matter of doing the right things. I know that seems like simple advice however this is the key element. Take action on the right things (and don’t worry about being a perfectionist) and you WILL see magnificent things happen.
Why not model yourself from someone who has already been there?
I’m revealing the exact same high level Internet Marketing techniques I used to propel my business to the seven figure a year mark in record time. People often pay up to $3,997 to learn some of these strategies one-on-one and now I am letting you have access to the raw summary.
You see the key point is this: “It’s not about the website”:
Instead you need to learn the right things such as:
* How to ‘think’ like a 7 Figure business operator
* What research factors make getting success ten times easier
* The three types of traffic to look for and how to get loads of it!
* Why recurring income is essential for explosive income growth
* How to construct a ‘Mafia offer’ your prospects simply cannot refuse
* The one word technique that doubled my business in just one month!
Concentrated information
I created a 22 minute ‘condensed’ information product called “It’s not about the website. It was produced after 17 hours of grueling one-on-one master mentoring sessions. This is the raw Video, PDF and MP3 summary version without any hype or fluff. I decided not to turn it into a fancy home study course (YET!) so that more people can have access to the information for a fraction of the investment. You have NO excuse not to jump all over this at this launch investment price!
Now you can take action!
In just a few minutes from now you will possess a solid workable formula that will be the foundation to propelling your Internet Business at lightning speed. I know you can succeed when you apply these strategies because they are RIGHT and they work.

Great post for someone like me who doesn’t know much about internet marketing yet. Gives a good overview and into a less daunting perspective. Thanks!

Hi James
I’ve just finished watching the entire 22 minutes of video and I must say, “I loved it!”.
It was well worth me suffering through goodness knows how many “Mozilla Firefox Crashes” yesterday to get through to the 15 minute mark …
that took nearly 2 hours! It’s a good thing I’m persistent
… and then the last 7 or so minutes tonight (without a hitch).
Everything you say makes so much sense. You deliver information in such an easy to understand way (which is why I loved your presentation so much at the World Internet Summit at the Gold Coast last March), and I thank you for making this information available – especially at such an amazingly low price!
Thank you. You’re a great teacher.

Hey James,
Great video! You really have a way of delivering what’s perceived to be really difficult material into layman terms that’s easy to understand. Thanks for the good useful content.
On another note, just got off the phone with Perry Belcher and he suggested that I contact you through this blog. I’m looking for more information on your wholesale SEO program as I’m rolling out a social media and internet marketing package to businesses in my local area in Southern California. Perry highly recommended you as one who could provide what we believe to be an integral part of our offering. Matter of fact, he told me that as soon as his “Indian” resource reached maximum threshold he was going to start farming out his SEO needs your direction, so keep an eye out!
Any additional info you could provide in this regard would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for making the accommodation. I’ll send you a FB message as well.
Cheers,
Egbert Oostburg

You have hit the nail on the head there, James.
When I think of all the action I have taken that has been ‘misguided’ I could scream … or maybe ‘roar’ like a lion.
Facing the ‘overwhelm’ at basic startup too… I feel blessed to have found someone like you who can help keep us on track and guide the action we take into something that can be much more fruitful and satisfying

James,
It’s pretty amazing the results you’ve gotten and how much you have grown your business in the past few years.
You’re absolutely right, it’s not just about having the right mindset and taking action, but about having the right mindset and taking the right action.

Once again James, spot on observation and advice for us IMers.

G’day James,
Sense. I’m so glad that you’re one of the few people involved in online marketing that speak it.
Several (not as many as I’d like mind, but several) of the points you advocate I’m delighted to say I’m already doing: authority content being the biggest.
In May of 2009 I began posting responses to questions on the Know-How Exchange of http://www.marketingprofs.com/ea/ a site here in the US that has 360K registered users.
Rather than sitting around waiting to be appointed as an expert, I took the bull by the horns and created social proof.
The result? Nine months later I’m now ranked in their top 10 contributors and have answered getting on for 1,300 questions. This has brought me two offline clients, several testimonials, and helped me establish a small but growing list that hears from me every week via a modest free newsletter.
Things are looking up and, thanks to your stellar content I know 2010 will give me so many more opportunities.
Kind regards,
—Gary B.

Hi James,
You were one of the first Internet Marketers I spoke to when starting out on my IM business … you helped me with understanding and navigating through XsitePro and creating my first website. I am now at the halfway mark to a 7-figure business and I keep revisiting your website because you are relevant and genuine in sharing your knowledge and experience.
This course served as a good recap to me of the reasons I got into this business and the markers I need to continue to be focused on in order to stay the course.
Thank you!
Andy

Great tips thank you, running a business for me goes without saying but sometimes you can forget to keep grounded so thanks for this.

I never knew that once you get a website, is that you needed a host….and a e-mail catcher and some type of online bank account until I listened to you…sad but true…I had my site up on line without a host for 6 years and wondered why i have not received any calls or traffic…6 F&%$n years…I was pissed at first and now I am learning to rectify this situation…My dream is to be self employed by June1st this year. and quit my Government job. i just like to say thanks for us still newbies out here… nobody ever talks about the basic stuff anymore most “gurus” automatically assume that you have all of these “bells and whistles already” well I don’t- I still have to work for the man and still do other things…so well thank you for everything you have done…because I know i can do this and find happiness…

hi James: that was a very interesting explanation of setting up a comparison page for evaluation…am new to Internet marketing…however, I have been in direct realty sales for some years…. I recently picked up the rights to distribute a realty book on the subject of “Short Sales” and not sure how to promote it….possibly it could be added to the one you have in your affiliate group…
Seems that there are a lot of “short sales” going off in 2010..’ how to become an affiliate and get “in the swim”
24. Jan, 2010
@realtorMel – I would set up 1) a Blog to become an authority reporter / content expert in the niche, then 2) make a sales page for that product of yours and have an affiliate program that wraps them together (like this blog).
25. Jan, 2010
Hi James: I feel I can move to creating a blog page …with the theme of helping people to understand the complexity,…and begin to navigate successfully thru a “Short Sale”…. and offer the book ” Should I Short Sale My Home” will be a help for them and be available for $ 12.95 ….
However, the next step on setting up a Sales Page & process to send link to download Book….upon their approving funds is somewhat …unknown to me. Have you knowledge of a template the could work….
25. Jan, 2010
Hi Mel,
The process is fairly straight forward. You can pay someone to make a sales page – or put a ‘page’ on your blog got start with.
The next step is to play with it yourself. We have a sales page creation tool and instructions in the SuperFastResults community.
If you were going to make a few pages for your own products and related products then you might get great value from Fast Landing Pages which is the one page tool we use a lot for building affiliate sites. (You can customize it to have an order button if you use a free editing software called Kompozer).

Hi James
I just finished watching the video and I loved it! You deliver information in such a simple and easy to absorb manner.
Trying to find the ‘right’ action to do isn’t very easy with so much information out there so thanks for the great product!

Thanks James, we all need reminding about one main thing. Focus – but not just focus, FOCUS on the right things and do them right.
You got my attention. Again!

I was just in a meeting with an Internet entrepreneur whose business went into a downward trend by not following advice given in the FREE sample you offer here. Nice work. Now, where’s my credit card….

James I had a quick bit of success and then floundered.
I realised I wasn’t running this like a business I would run for someone else. I was failing myself strategy and business thinking wise.
Sadly this included wanting to make money but not loving it enough to ensure my accounts were being kept in good order.
Now I have a strategy meeting with my accountant booked and am seriously starting to act like the business person I am when I work for others!
I have squandering opportunities because I’ve been playing at this not making it my successful business.
INATW really helped just cement some of those ideas and refocus my attentions on the structures and foundations I am building upon.
Cheers for your the work you do to help us become successful too.

Hi James,
I really appreciate your knowledge in the video, and also your experience and discipline in setting up your business. One challenge I have is figuring out a realistic budget to get everything setup. There are definitely costs to get set up, given the myriad services one could procure. One key service to procure, as I see it, is outsourced labor – with high quality outsourced labor the costs can go way down and productivity way up, and many of the services you mention will become a part of those labor costs instead. How did you budget and find the right people, while building your business? Thanks!
