Ranking Loophole Review

Ranking Loophole by Dave Kelly and Chris Rempel is a $67 ebook product teaching how to rank for ‘any keyword you want’.

How Does It Work?

If you are like me you probably had a guess at the details before you buy it. My guess was very close. In fact I have been using a similar method for a few of my older smaller sites. The strategy revolves around having small sites that rank well and larger sites to push them there. It is a complete step-by-step system.

Most webmasters know that MSN are less strict than Google for ranking factors and can be ‘gamed’. This is a similar but more effective system than the old style of mass page generation techniques from the TE (Traffic Equalizer) days. Back then people were putting up thousands of pages and making a killing with adsense. That all stopped and most of those sites died. If you have any of them now then this ranking loophole method can bring some of them back into the picture.

What do you need?

You will need domain names, basic editing skills, hosting and some software. You can buy the software Dave Kelly the author uses or you can use some other available free plugins for wordpress. His script is probably the most efficient.

Dave Kelly takes you through the steps for choosing a domain using his favorite keyword tool. Once you select the domain you will create a small one page site to the specifications he recommends. This where he is using similar methods I have tested and I have had the same results. Top rankings from simple small sites. The special layout is good for conversions too.

Step-By-Step

After you have your ‘money page’ (the one that you want to rank) it is time to boost it with links back to the site. This is the part that involves blogs and scripts. There is nothing overly complicated about the procedure and if you can set up a blog you are set to go. There is work involved though. Dave does mention a payed plug in (Excellent !!!) that makes things a little easier for populating a blog fast with old content.

If you are technically challenged?

Dave mentions other methods you can use (like getting links from linkvana) to get a head start on the process. You do not need thousands or even hundreds of blogs to use this method. In fact if you are doing thiongs like article marketing with adsense then you may be able to just modify your landing pages to the suggested format and you might start ranking in MSN fast. If you had a dozen blogs you would be swinging along.

Will this system last or get banned?

I expect it will survive in some form for a while. MSN are slow to change and like keyword density. Whilst it is not something I will be focusing on too much (Because I get excellent rankings in Google with my methods) I will be setting up a few small sites as feeders to my products using this technique. The site methods are not really black hat or anything, they do use duplicate content and they use scripts to take advantage of the current MSN system.

The problem

The only problem I see with it is they offer no real value to visitors. That is why they do not get loved by Google. Eventually they will be weeded out. Dave has exposed his system and large parts of his sprawling network to produce this product so I think he is taking a big risk. For this reason I would not go as mass volume and stick more to a hybrid of higher quality combines with linking techniques. This could be done using PLR or unique articles for example.

In the worst case the money sites could be adapted to Google ranking if this system were to stop working. They would just need more content and a different structure. The blogs could be adjusted to and re-purposed if required.

Summary?

For the price it is fair. It is a real system and it does work. It does require actual work and the danger is you may be taken of your current path whatever that is. The techniques are a little ‘thin’ and offer no real value to internet users. On the upside you should get results fairly fast and it may work for a while. It could really help you supplement an already good campaign from Google by adding another network to your traffic collection. The traffic is there to get .

It is a great marketing angle and I really expected to be seeing more of this in the other blogging product I reviewed recently. I picked up two really powerful ideas that I will be using with some current sites that I have in place already. Whatever you do, don’t try any of this on a good ranking Google site – it will get slapped. For article marketers the landing pages should work better than direct linking.

Buy it if you want to expand in MSN and get more traffic for short tail competitive words

Hi James,

Thanks for a very honest review. At least any one buying this piece of software knows what they are getting. I will go ahead and buy it and test to see how it works. The bottom line is whatever you buy nowadays you have to adapt it to your own needs. I am a true believe in experimenting so thats exactly what I will with this piece system. Your honest review is much appreciated.

Thanks Ade,

This is great if you like to experiment. If you have the time you can build quite a machine with the techniques used here.

This is a great review!

A refreshing change from all the affiliate sites overhyping this thing.

Thanks Hugh

James. You mentioned that you would not use the Ranking Loophole method on a good ranking Google website. Does this same logic apply to building new blogs and linking them to good ranking websites? Is there a risk of using good ranking websites (our money sites) as the links used in the Loophole system?

What does it mean to get slapped by Google?

Hi Denny,

Being slapped by G**gle means you r results get de-indexed (or in the case of PPC – your ad costs go up dramatically).

If you were to put links on a high rated site that rotate every time the page loads it may be penalized for trying to ‘trick’ the search engine.

You can’t really control who links to you so the penalty is unlikely.

James
